Former NFL star J.J. Watt selected the Seattle Seahawks to win Super Bowl LXI during an appearance on The Pat McAfee Show. When asked to make his prediction, Watt stated that "you gotta beat the champs to be the champs" as his primary reasoning for picking Seattle to repeat as champions.
The Seahawks entered week six with a 3-2 record after defeating the New England Patriots 29-13 in the previous Super Bowl. Despite Seattle's mixed start, Watt maintained his selection even with teams like the San Francisco 49ers, Minnesota Vikings, and Kansas City Chiefs remaining undefeated.
