The Indianapolis Colts are in talks to trade star running back Jonathan Taylor after a meeting with owner Carlie Irsay-Gordon regarding his future.

The Indianapolis Colts are engaged in active trade talks regarding star running back Jonathan Taylor following his meeting with owner Carlie Irsay-Gordon. Following a 2-5 start and the dismissal of general manager Chris Ballard, the Colts have entered a rebuilding phase. Five NFL franchises—the Denver Broncos, Green Bay Packers, Minnesota Vikings, New York Giants, and Seattle Seahawks—have reportedly expressed interest in acquiring the 27-year-old rusher.
Indianapolis is reportedly seeking a significant return of draft picks comparable to the Christian McCaffrey trade in 2022. The discussions follow previous trades sending Quenton Nelson to Seattle and DeForest Buckner back to San Francisco. Taylor, who remains under contract through 2028, noted he cannot control front-office decisions while focusing on preparing for Indianapolis's upcoming division matchup against Jacksonville.
