The Seattle Seahawks signed running back Velus Jones Jr to the active roster and elevated veteran cornerback Trevon Diggs and safety Maxen Hook ahead of Week 4. General manager John Schneider made the moves before hosting the Los Angeles Chargers at Lumen Field following a Week 3 defeat to the Washington Commanders.
Jones provides backfield depth with rookie running back Jadarian Price sidelined for at least a month due to a chest injury. Diggs was elevated for the first time since joining Seattle during the preseason, while Hook provides secondary insurance as safety Ty Okada manages a hamstring injury.
