Two-time Super Bowl champion Asante Samuel did not hold back on A.J. Brown. The former New England Patriots cornerback and two-time Super Bowl champion aimed at the struggling Patriots receiver, A.J. Brown, on the “Say What Needs to Be Said”…

Former New England Patriots cornerback Asante Samuel criticized wide receiver A.J. Brown following Seattle receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba's impressive touchdown catch against the Kansas City Chiefs. Speaking on the "Say What Needs to Be Said" show, Samuel questioned why Brown could not haul in deep passes, calling his recent drops a "piss-poor effort" despite his size and strength.
Brown has experienced a slow start since joining the Patriots via trade from the Philadelphia Eagles, logging nine catches for 101 yards and zero touchdowns through three games following an ankle injury. Samuel argued that New England's system might not suit Brown and suggested increasing opportunities for teammate DeMario Douglas.
