Tests confirmed Monday that Packers defensive tackle Javon Hargrave suffered a season-ending torn Achilles in Sunday's victory over the Bears, a source told ESPN's Adam Schefter.

Green Bay Packers veteran defensive tackle Javon Hargrave will miss the remainder of the season due to a torn Achilles, a source confirmed to ESPN. Hargrave suffered the injury during the final minutes of Green Bay's 31-7 victory over the Chicago Bears on Sunday. The defensive tackle was unable to put weight on his right leg following a pass-rush attempt and was carted off the field.
The 33-year-old signed a two-year, $23 million contract with Green Bay as a free agent this offseason. He played 123 defensive snaps across four games, recording four tackles. Hargrave is the second Packers defender to suffer a season-ending torn Achilles in two weeks, following linebacker Edgerrin Cooper.
