Eagles RB Saquon Barkley is expected to return to practice Thursday and is in line to play Monday against the Cowboys, sources told NFL Network's Mike Garafolo.

Philadelphia Eagles running back Saquon Barkley is expected to practice and play in Monday's matchup against the Dallas Cowboys. Barkley had been sidelined for the past two games after sustaining a hamstring injury in the first quarter of a Week 4 loss to the Los Angeles Rams. His anticipated return comes as Philadelphia navigates the season-ending absence of starting quarterback Jalen Hurts.
Barkley's presence would provide a major boost to an Eagles rushing attack that ranks 29th in the NFL at 82.2 yards per game. Running backs Tank Bigsby and Will Shipley remain on injured reserve, leaving Philadelphia heavily depleted in the backfield. Left tackle Jordan Mailata described Barkley's return to practice as a significant morale boost for the 2-4 team.
