Texans running back David Montgomery suffered a groin injury against the Titans and was ruled out.

Houston Texans running back David Montgomery was ruled out after suffering a groin injury during a game against the Tennessee Titans. Montgomery sustained the injury early in the second quarter, with his final play occurring on a second-and-5 carry to start the period. Prior to exiting the contest, he had accumulated 11 rushing yards across five carries.
The setback adds to a challenging campaign for Montgomery, who has struggled to maintain production following a three-touchdown performance against the Buffalo Bills in Week 1. Since that opener, he has not reached the end zone and entered the game averaging a career-low 2.7 yards per carry.
