The Washington Commanders announced four roster transactions on Saturday ahead of their Week 5 matchup against the New York Giants. Washington activated defensive end Deatrich Wise Jr. from the Reserve/PUP list, signed linebacker Austin Keys from the practice squad, and elevated safety Darren Hall and wide receiver Van Jefferson. Meanwhile, quarterback Jayden Daniels is expected to return following a dislocated elbow.
Along with the roster adjustments, head coach Dan Quinn's team officially ruled out cornerback Trey Amos and running back Jeremy McNichols.
