The Washington Commanders released an extensive Wednesday injury report ahead of their Week 5 matchup against the New York Giants. Wide receiver Stefon Diggs was listed as a non-participant due to a hamstring strain following the team's game against the Indianapolis Colts. Fellow wide receiver Terry McLaurin also missed practice with a hamstring issue, dealing another major blow to the receiving corps.
Quarterback Jayden Daniels was a full participant despite a dislocated left elbow and is expected to start against New York. However, backup quarterback Marcus Mariota did not practice due to a sprained MCL, and defensive lineman Charles Omenihu was sidelined by groin and ankle injuries.
