The Washington Commanders held a workout for punter Bryce Baringer on Thursday, according to the NFL transaction wire. Baringer spent the past three seasons serving as the primary punter for the New England Patriots before an injury setback.
The 27-year-old was originally selected by New England in the sixth round of the 2023 NFL Draft. After being placed on injured reserve during training camp and subsequently released, Baringer is now seeking his next opportunity following a 2025 campaign where he averaged 47.4 yards across 51 punts.
