The Miami Dolphins have claimed running back Kaytron Allen off waivers from the Washington Commanders, according to a report by Adam Schefter on Friday. The move comes after Washington surprisingly waived the rookie running back earlier in the week.
Allen was selected in the sixth round of the 2026 NFL Draft out of Penn State on the 187th overall pick. He signed a four-year rookie contract and recorded 41 rushing yards on 12 attempts across four appearances for Washington this season.
