David Pastrnak became the sixth player in Boston Bruins history to reach 300 career power-play points during a shootout victory over the Vegas Golden Knights on Monday. Pastrnak reached the milestone with a secondary assist on Morgan Geekie's second-period power-play goal. After Vegas leveled the score at 2-2 to force overtime, Pastrnak scored the decisive goal in the shootout to secure the win.
Pastrnak joins franchise legends Ray Bourque, Johnny Bucyk, Phil Esposito, Patrice Bergeron, and Bobby Orr as the only Bruins with 300 power-play points. The 30-year-old leads Boston with 20 points in 16 games this season, putting the Bruins three points ahead in the Atlantic Division standings as he approaches Orr's career mark of 310 power-play points.
