The Buffalo Sabres have wrapped up their four preseason games and are preparing to open their regular season this week. The Sabres will travel to face the Columbus Blue Jackets on Thursday, October 1, before returning home to host the Chicago Blackhawks on Saturday, October 3.
In the AHL, the Rochester Americans have also concluded their preseason schedule. Rochester will host the Toronto Marlies on Friday, October 2, followed by an away matchup against the Belleville Senators on Sunday, October 4.
