Owen Power scored with 37 seconds remaining in overtime to lead the Buffalo Sabres to a 3-2 comeback victory over the Minnesota Wild on Tuesday night at KeyBank Center. Noah Ostlund and Tage Thompson scored in the third period to spark the comeback, while goaltender Colten Ellis stopped 18 shots in his first start of the season.
Minnesota had previously broken a scoreless tie by netting two goals late in the second period. Power assisted on Ostlund's goal before Thompson tied the game, bringing Power's team-leading point tally to five on the season. The Sabres continue their homestand against the Dallas Stars on Thursday.
