The Calgary Flames will start goaltender Dustin Wolf against the Seattle Kraken on Friday night with Devin Cooley sidelined. The decision sets up a tough challenge for Wolf, who surrendered six goals in each of his previous two appearances against Seattle, posting a .797 save percentage across those matchups.
Seattle enters the matchup ranked eighth in the NHL in scoring with 48 goals through 13 games. Todd Matthews notes that a victory would allow Calgary to climb into fifth place in the Pacific Division, while offering Wolf a major opportunity for redemption.
