The Calgary Flames are 0-4-0 early in the 2026/27 season, and ahead of their next game, they've revealed that Sam Honzek will come out of the lineup due to injury.

Calgary Flames head coach Ryan Huska confirmed that forward Samuel Honzek will miss Saturday's matchup against the Anaheim Ducks due to an injury. Honzek, who had not skated for several days leading up to the contest, will be replaced in the lineup by Maxim Tsyplakov as Calgary searches for its first win of the season.
Goaltender Dustin Wolf will start in net against Anaheim as the Flames seek to rebound from a 7-3 loss to Scotiabank Saddledome ice. Calgary enters the game with an 0-4-0 record, having surrendered 23 goals across their first four games of the campaign.
