The Calgary Flames remain winless through the early goings of the 2026-27 NHL season, starting with five consecutive losses. For a club that hasn’t played beyond the 82nd game of the regular season since 2022, that’s not an encouraging sign…
NHL insider Elliotte Friedman reported that scrutiny around Calgary Flames head coach Ryan Huska's job security is increasing following a winless five-game start to the season. Friedman noted that Calgary is currently the team drawing widespread attention around the league due to their early struggles, though no formal coaching change has been announced.
