Hurricanes Favorites to Land Dylan Larkin, Odds Show

Betting odds from BetOnline Sports & Casino have installed the Carolina Hurricanes as the 3/1 favorites to acquire Detroit Red Wings center Dylan Larkin via a trade. Larkin is currently holding out from the Red Wings after playing a handful of games to start the season. Behind the Hurricanes' 25% implied probability, the Minnesota Wild sit at 5/1, the Florida Panthers at 6/1, and the Montreal Canadiens at 14/1.

Nestor Quixtan reports that while Larkin would stylistically fit as a second-line center behind Sebastian Aho, several trade obstacles remain. Carolina must navigate salary cap limitations and build an enticing trade package, particularly since Seth Jarvis, Jackson Blake, and Logan Stankoven are reportedly off-limits in trade discussions.
