The Chicago Blackhawks are going up against the Carolina Hurricanes on Saturday night, who present a huge challenge.

The Chicago Blackhawks (4-12-1) conclude their road trip on Saturday night against the defending Stanley Cup champion Carolina Hurricanes (13-3-2). Chicago enters the matchup following consecutive blowout road losses to the Florida Panthers and Tampa Bay Lightning. Carolina currently leads the league in wins and points, having already defeated Chicago earlier in the season on October 10.
Chicago remains without Patrick Kane and Bowen Byram for the contest, while Spencer Knight is expected to start in goal under head coach Jeff Blashill. Carolina welcomes forward Taylor Hall back to a lineup led by Sebastian Aho and defenseman Jaccob Slavin, though captain Jordan Staal remains absent.
