Connor Hellebuyck may have started contemplating a possible return to the Winnipeg Jets, and it's not just because he losing a lot of money.

Goaltender Connor Hellebuyck is reportedly contemplating returning to the Winnipeg Jets while awaiting a potential trade. According to David Pagnotta on NHL Network and Morning Cuppa Hockey, Hellebuyck has been training on his own and faces growing financial losses from forfeited salary, while also missing crucial training camp and game preparation.
Pagnotta reported that a potential return would face significant friction within the organization. Sources indicate several Jets players, management, and ownership would not welcome him back with open arms, leaving Winnipeg management firmly in control of the situation.
