Kyle Connor scored two goals, including the game-winner with one minute remaining, to lead the Winnipeg Jets to a 3-2 victory over the Colorado Avalanche on Wednesday. Cole Perfetti also scored for Winnipeg while skating on the top line alongside Mark Scheifele and Connor. The victory extended Winnipeg's season-opening point streak to four games with a 3-0-1 record.

Connor and Perfetti have combined for eight of the Jets' 12 goals early in the season. Defensively, Jets defenseman Josh Morrissey exited the game with an upper-body injury following a first-period collision. Winnipeg goaltender Skinner held Colorado's offense in check, and Avalanche netminder Mackenzie Blackwood took the loss.
