A Detroit Red Wings trade pitch proposes replacing Dylan Larkin with Capitals center Pierre-Luc Dubois in a four-player deal.

A trade proposal published on PuckGM suggests the Detroit Red Wings send center Dylan Larkin and a 2027 fifth-round draft pick to the Washington Capitals. In return, Detroit would acquire veteran center Pierre-Luc Dubois, forward prospect Andrew Cristall, defenseman Justin Holl, and a 2027 third-round selection.
The proposed deal comes following Larkin's request to be traded from Detroit after ten seasons without reaching the playoffs. Washington is reportedly on Larkin's expanded list of preferred destinations, while Red Wings general manager Steve Yzerman has not guaranteed that any trade involving the team's former captain will take place.
