The Ducks chose McQueen with the 10th overall pick in the 2025 NHL Draft.

The Anaheim Ducks are calling up top forward prospect Roger McQueen from their AHL affiliate, the San Diego Gulls. According to Sportsnet's Elliotte Friedman, the promotion sets the stage for the 2025 No. 10 overall draft pick to potentially make his NHL debut on Tuesday night against the Calgary Flames.
McQueen scored three goals in four AHL games with San Diego to start the season after competing for an NHL roster spot during training camp. The Saskatoon native recorded 27 points in 36 games for the NCAA's Providence Friars last season before signing his entry-level contract.
