Evan Bouchard scored two goals and added an assist to lead the Edmonton Oilers to a 5-2 victory over the Anaheim Ducks on Wednesday night. Edmonton dominated the contest behind an explosive five-goal second period at Honda Center, bouncing back strongly after falling behind early in the game.
With his performance, Bouchard became only the second defenseman in NHL history to record at least six goals across the first four games of a season. Anaheim initially grabbed momentum with two first-period power-play goals and featured the debut of Nikita Klepov before Edmonton scored five unanswered goals.
