Anton Lundell Hat Trick Fuels Florida Panthers To Third Straight Victory

Anton Lundell recorded his first career hat trick to lead the Florida Panthers to a 5-2 victory over the Winnipeg Jets. The win marked Florida's third consecutive victory and their second triumph over Winnipeg within the week. Sam Reinhart and Seth Jones also scored for Florida, while Kyle Connor contributed a goal for the Jets against Panthers goaltender Akira Schmid.

Lundell's three-goal performance snapped a six-game scoring drought and capped Florida's fifth hat trick through the first 14 games of the season. According to team broadcaster Steve Goldstein, the Panthers became the first NHL team in 104 years to record five hat tricks in that few games. Florida next faces the Detroit Red Wings on Monday.
