Brad Marchand Close to a Return to the Florida Panthers

Florida Panthers forward Brad Marchand is nearing a return to the lineup sooner than originally anticipated after practicing with the team. Head coach Paul Maurice stated on Saturday that Marchand is real close to coming back, pending final medical clearance from doctors, trainers, and the player himself.

Marchand underwent surgery in August to address a recurring issue after attempting to manage the injury through the previous campaign. Since he was never placed on long-term injured reserve, he is eligible to rejoin the lineup immediately, likely slotting back into the third line alongside Anton Lundell and Eetu Luostarinen.
