The Florida Panthers have recalled forwards Cole Reinhardt and Cole Schwindt from the AHL and have assigned veteran Sam Lafferty to the Charlotte Checkers.

The Florida Panthers have assigned forward Sam Lafferty to the AHL while recalling forwards Cole Reinhardt and Cole Schwindt. These roster moves come as the Panthers manage ongoing injuries to Aleksander Barkov and Brad Marchand. Lafferty had appeared in five games as the fourth-line center without registering a point, posting a minus-4 rating prior to his reassignment.
Schwindt immediately slotted into the fourth-line center position at practice, having tallied three points in five AHL games this season. Meanwhile, Reinhardt was recalled ahead of Florida's recent 3-2 victory over the Vancouver Canucks and rotated with Bokondji Imama at practice, likely serving as the team's extra forward ahead of an upcoming four-game road trip.
