Former NHL defenseman Lyle Odelein died overnight Friday at the age of 58. Odelein concluded his long professional hockey career with the Pittsburgh Penguins during the 2005-06 NHL season.
The former blueliner spent the final campaign of his tenure in Pittsburgh, marking the end of his extensive playing career across the league.
