Pulock suffered the injury during Thursday’s 4-3 overtime win against the Minnesota Wild.

The New York Islanders announced that veteran defenseman Ryan Pulock will miss two to four weeks due to an upper-body injury. Pulock suffered the injury during Thursday's 4-3 overtime victory against the Minnesota Wild, appearing in discomfort after an interaction with Wild forward Yakov Trenin.
Pulock has recorded one assist while averaging roughly 17 and a half minutes of ice time across 13 games this season. In his absence, the Islanders are expected to rely heavily on second-year defenseman Matthew Schaefer as they continue their homestand.
