The Kings may have a new coach and Artemi Panarin, but Tuesday's loss to Florida showed that the same old problems are still very much alive.

Ryan O’Hara writes for The Hockey News that despite hiring new coach Peter Laviolette and acquiring Artemi Panarin, the Los Angeles Kings are still hindered by persistent offensive struggles. Los Angeles fell to the Florida Panthers on Tuesday night after failing to convert on five power-play opportunities, managing only five shots with the man advantage before Matthew Tkachuk scored the game-winner in the third period.
While the Kings successfully killed all six Florida power plays, their own power play dropped to 2-for-12 on the season, leaving the team with an 0-2-1 record. O’Hara highlights that while Panarin scored in his first two games, the Kings require greater offensive consistency from players like Adrian Kempe and Quinton Byfield.
