Minnesota Wild defenseman Brock Faber has been medically cleared to return, which could give the team a much-needed lift.

Minnesota Wild head coach John Hynes confirmed that defenseman Brock Faber has been medically cleared to return to play following a fractured skull. Faber sustained the injury during a preseason game on September 25 against the Dallas Stars. While there is no specific timeline for his official game return, Hynes indicated that it is not far off as the 24-year-old works to rebuild his conditioning.
Faber's progress provides vital relief for a depleted Wild blue line that has already seen Jared Spurgeon and Olli Maatta miss time due to injuries. Gone Puck Wild highlights that his eventual comeback, combined with ongoing contract discussions with Quinn Hughes, positions Minnesota to strengthen its roster as the team aims to establish itself as a legitimate Stanley Cup contender.
