Nothing has changed with Quinn Hughes' status with the Minnesota Wild. The Pending UFA continues weigh his options and taking his time.

There has been no new development regarding an extension or trade for Minnesota Wild defenseman Quinn Hughes, according to NHL insider Elliotte Friedman. Hughes remains a pending unrestricted free agent after being acquired from the Vancouver Canucks without any guarantees of a contract extension.
Wild general manager Bill Guerin recently noted in an interview that there is little he can do regarding the situation. Friedman suggested the Wild might retain Hughes for a postseason run rather than trading him for future assets.
