Matt Boldy has yet to record a point and Joel Eriksson Ek is still searching for his first goal, but Wild coach John Hynes believes both forwards are doing the right things.

Minnesota Wild head coach John Hynes expressed confidence in forwards Matt Boldy and Joel Eriksson Ek despite their slow offensive starts to the season. Four games into the campaign, Boldy has yet to record a point and Eriksson Ek is still seeking his first goal, but Hynes emphasized that both players are generating opportunities and playing the right way.
The Wild fell to a 2-1-1 record following a road loss to the Tampa Bay Lightning. Despite the lack of early scoring, Hynes noted that neither player needs to change their approach, while Boldy acknowledged the frustration but stressed focusing on making an impact in upcoming games.
