The Montreal Canadiens extended their win streak to four with a 5-2 victory over the Dallas Stars on Thursday night.

The Montreal Canadiens completed a four-game road sweep on Thursday night with a 5-2 victory against the Dallas Stars. Cole Caufield and Alex Newhook each scored two goals to lead the offense, while Phillip Danault sealed the win with an empty-netter. The result improves Montreal's record to 8-3-2 on the season as they played without injured captain Nick Suzuki.
Goaltender Jakub Dobes stopped 17 of 19 shots to earn the victory after shaking off early pressure. Writer Brandon Croce highlighted Newhook's success moving onto the top line, Dobes' key saves, the team's ability to protect a multi-goal lead, and Montreal's four-game winning streak without Suzuki and Ivan Demidov.
