Game Points – Habs Complete Perfect Road Trip with Win in Dallas

The Montreal Canadiens finished a perfect road trip through Western Conference opponents by defeating the Dallas Stars 5-2 on Thursday night. Cole Caufield and Alex Newhook each scored two goals, while Phillip Danault added an empty-net goal to secure Montreal's fourth consecutive victory. Goaltender Jakub Dobes made several key saves to keep the Stars at bay, with Dallas getting goals from Wyatt Johnston and Jamie Benn.

Newhook moved to the top line to cover for roster adjustments, and defenseman Lane Hutson set a franchise record with his 136th assist by a Canadiens player aged 23 or younger. Strong defensive play and penalty killing led by Danault and Jake Evans limited the Stars' attack, capping off a successful multi-game road stretch for Montreal.
