Juraj Slafkovsky started the season on the second line, but now there's an argument for him to stay on the top line, especially with Ivan Demidov dealing with an injury.

Spencer Lazary of A Winning Habit argues that the Montreal Canadiens should keep forward Juraj Slafkovsky on the top line alongside Nick Suzuki and Cole Caufield. Slafkovsky was promoted from the second line during Tuesday's matchup against the Carolina Hurricanes, reuniting the trio after Ivan Demidov suffered an injury.
Demidov is projected to miss two to four weeks, presenting head coach Martin St. Louis with an opportunity to adjust the lineup. Lazary suggests shifting Chris Kreider to the second line to balance experience while granting Slafkovsky a chance to build consistency alongside Suzuki and Caufield.
