Jayden Struble was no longer part of the Canadiens’ plans. There was a logjam at the blue line, and the Montreal Canadiens opted to keep Adam Engstrom, Arber Xhekaj, and David Reinbacher.
Jayden Struble is finding a regular role with the Nashville Predators after struggling for playing time with the Montreal Canadiens. The defenseman recently logged 19:36 of ice time, eight hits, and three blocked shots against the St. Louis Blues under head coach Andrew Brunette.
Struble has totaled 18 hits and five blocks across four games with Nashville. He previously faced a blue-line logjam in Montreal, but the report notes he is seizing his opportunity playing alongside defense partner Nicolas Hague.
