The New Jersey Devils recalled forward Stefan Noesen from the AHL's Utica Comets while placing forward Connor Brown on injured reserve. Brown has been dealing with an injury sustained in practice on September 28, but reporter Amanda Stein noted that he has been skating and can be activated at any time.
Noesen was waived and assigned to Utica four days prior after appearing in two scoreless games for New Jersey. His recall provides veteran depth as the team's 13th forward, with waiver-exemption limits applying unless he hits specific game thresholds.
