New Jersey Devils forward Stefan Noesen has cleared waivers after being placed on Thursday afternoon.

New Jersey Devils forward Stefan Noesen has cleared waivers and has been loaned to the American Hockey League's Utica Comets. The 33-year-old was placed on waivers on Thursday afternoon after featuring in the Devils' opening two games of the 2026-27 season, where he averaged 7:24 of ice time before being replaced in the lineup by Jesper Boqvist.
Noesen is in the final year of a three-year, $8.25 million contract signed in July 2024 and will become an unrestricted free agent in 2027. A veteran of 484 career NHL games, he previously posted a career-best 22 goals with New Jersey during the 2024-25 season.
