The New Jersey Devils are focusing on fixing their struggling power play ahead of a five-game stretch over eight days. Through three games, the team has converted on only one of 14 power-play opportunities, prompting dedicated practice adjustments before facing the Vancouver Canucks.
Captain Nico Hischier stressed the need to apply greater pressure and pepper opposing goaltenders with quality shots from high-danger areas. The team is also counting on defensemen Luke Hughes and Dougie Hamilton to provide a necessary offensive spark from the point.
