The New Jersey Devils are replacing Stefan Noesen with Jesper Boqvist on their fourth line alongside Cody Glass and Amadeus Lombardi. Head coach Sheldon Keefe made the change during Monday's practice ahead of Tuesday's game against the Utah Mammoth, aiming to add speed and transition ability to the forward unit.
Noesen had started the first two games of the season while Connor Brown remained sidelined with an injury. However, after the fourth line struggled in a 6-0 loss to the New York Islanders, Keefe turned to Boqvist to bring footspeed and improved puck transport.
