Dylan Larkin has been the subject of a lot of rumors lately. The Devils had reportedly been interested in trading for him. Is that the right choice?

Lucas Trainor analyzes whether the New Jersey Devils should trade for forward Dylan Larkin following his suspension by the Detroit Red Wings. Larkin demanded a trade and refused to play, prompting Detroit to seek a deal for the 30-year-old former captain.
Trainor argues that while Larkin offers proven scoring and veteran leadership, acquiring him could disrupt team chemistry under captain Nico Hischier. Potential trade packages reportedly being discussed include Timo Meier, Brenden Dillon, Cody Glass, Anthony Mantha, and Stefan Noesen amid additional salary-cap concerns.
