After a grueling recovery from shoulder surgery, Quinn Finley showcased his elite speed and vision, tallying a primary assist to spark the offense in his professional arrival.

New York Islanders forward prospect Quinn Finley made his professional AHL debut on Friday night, recording an assist in a 4-1 loss to the Rochester Americans. Finley earned the primary assist on Daniil Prokhorov's first career AHL goal in the third period of his first game since recovering from shoulder surgery.
The 22-year-old was initially expected to debut last season after playing for the University of Wisconsin, but required surgery to repair a lingering injury. After being limited to a non-contact sweater during Islanders training camp, head coach Jay McKee praised Finley's speed and playmaking abilities in his return.
