The New York Rangers have recalled defenseman Matthew Robertson from the Hartford Wolf Pack for the second time in just over a week. Robertson had previously been recalled and promptly reassigned to the AHL following a recent defeat against the Los Angeles Kings.
The roster transaction comes amid uncertainty surrounding defenseman Sean Durzi, who has missed consecutive practices for maintenance days and is considered a game-time decision. Dave Shapiro reports that Scott Morrow is expected to dress if Durzi cannot play, noting head coach Mike Sullivan's typical preference for defenseman handedness favors Morrow over the left-handed Robertson.
