The New York Rangers welcome former coach Peter Laviolette and NHL scoring leader Connor McDavid to Madison Square Garden this coming week.

The New York Rangers return to Madison Square Garden for a two-game home slate this week, hosting former coach Peter Laviolette and the Los Angeles Kings on Monday before facing Connor McDavid and the Edmonton Oilers on Sunday. The Rangers are 6-0-0 at home this season but are looking to rebound after dropping road games to Toronto and Ottawa.
Rookie goaltender Dylan Garand has started seven straight games following Igor Shesterkin's season-ending injury, while newly signed veteran James Reimer could potentially earn a call-up. Meanwhile, defenseman Adam Fox leads New York's offense with 16 assists in 13 games as the team prepares to challenge McDavid's league-leading 33 points.
