This isn’t what Oliver Bjorkstrand envisioned.

Oliver Bjorkstrand is working to secure more ice time with the New York Rangers, stressing that he cannot pout after being demoted to the fourth line. The 31-year-old winger boosted his case on Monday by scoring two goals in a 5-2 victory over the Anaheim Ducks while logging 12:08 of ice time.
Despite averaging only 10:16 of playing time across seven games, Bjorkstrand is tied for second on the team with four goals. Head coach Mike Sullivan praised his performance and confirmed discussions regarding efforts to find the veteran forward additional ice time.
