From a roulette wheel to the Stanley Cup bowl to classic logos, NHL teams have unveiled some creative center-ice logos this year.
The Athletic ranked all 32 NHL center-ice logos for the 2026-27 season, evaluating designs across the league. The Vegas Golden Knights secured the top spot with a roulette-wheel design celebrating their 10th anniversary. The San Jose Sharks finished second with an ombre teal ice sheet, while the Carolina Hurricanes and Florida Panthers tied for third place.
The rankings were compiled by writers Sean Gentille, Shayna Goldman, Mark Lazerus, and Julian McKenzie. The Columbus Blue Jackets ranked last at No. 32, behind the Tampa Bay Lightning and New Jersey Devils, with the panel favoring bold colors and celebratory details over standard team logos.
