Cutter Gauthier’s hat trick and a lethal Anaheim power play sparked a comeback from a 3-0 deficit.

The Ottawa Senators surrendered six unanswered goals to fall 6-3 against the Anaheim Ducks on Sunday night, squandering an early three-goal advantage. Ottawa took a commanding 3-0 lead in the first period through goals from Philip Tomasino, Claude Giroux, and Michael Amadio. However, Anaheim dominated the remainder of the contest, fueled by a hat trick from Cutter Gauthier and four power-play goals.
Judd Caulfield scored twice for the Ducks, and Roger McQueen added another goal on the man advantage to seal the win. Anaheim finished 4-for-5 on the power play, while Ottawa goaltender Jonas Johansson conceded six goals on 33 shots. The game also featured the ejection of Dylan Cozens for a blindside hit on A.J.
