Ottawa ends the California swing on a sour note.

The Ottawa Senators surrendered an early three-goal advantage to fall 6-3 against the Anaheim Ducks. Ottawa surged ahead in the opening period with goals from Philip Tomasino, Claude Giroux, and Micheal Amadio. However, Anaheim mounted a relentless comeback, sparked by a Cutter Gauthier hat trick and two goals from Judd Caufield, completely shifting momentum.
Anaheim took control in the third period through dominant special teams, scoring four power-play goals against Senators goaltender Jonas Johansson. Roger McQueen added a late goal to seal the win for the Ducks, concluding Ottawa's California road trip on a frustrating note.
