A dominant, blowout win in San Jose!
The Ottawa Senators secured a dominant 5-1 road victory against the San Jose Sharks on October 31, 2026. Ottawa controlled possession early and opened the scoring with a goal from Dylan Cozens off a Tim Stützle assist. San Jose responded with an equalizer from Misa, but Ottawa pulled away with second-period goals from Drake Batherson, Stützle, and a shorthanded breakaway tally by Ridly Greig.
Ottawa maintained firm control throughout the final period, successfully killing penalties and adding an empty-net goal from Shane Pinto. Goaltender Sam Ersson earned his first win with the Senators, stopping San Jose's limited chances. The victory wrapped up the month of October positively for Ottawa during their West Coast road trip.
